I’m longing for a book that starts out with the soft introduction to a family or something in pre apocalypse like the introduction to the last of us with the day hours before the end with Sarah miller and Joel miller. I long to yet read a book that starts with that and is maybe pretty drawn out not boring but maybe wordy and just really gets in depth with the characters or the people that come before the main characters if that makes sense. “The calm before” like feeling pls #preapocalypse
