  Happy Holidays
  We are wrapping up what has been a record year for Likewise! From talking to my peers, I sense that we will be part of the minority of companies that will finish the year strongly above our plan. I’m proud of our team and how much they have delivered in the last year. I’m also incredibly thankful for our dedicated customers and partners who have worked closely with us to evolve our products, services, and business model. You’ll see details on some of these evolutions in this newsletter, particularly in our packaged support offerings of Likewise Open.

Here, at Likewise, we understand the impact of these topics on our customers and the effect that they will continue to have on all companies for some time to come. For this reason, we continue to work hard on Likewise Open, our open source project.

  Likewise has been chosen by Red Hat as the winner of the 2008 Innovation Award for Enhanced Security. Likewise is one of six finalists that are also in the running for the Red Hat Innovator of the Year Award.

  Free beer, free speech, and now free authentication. We've heard from a large number of organizations that they would like a simple, inexpensive, yet enterprise-strength solution to provide Active Directory authentication for Linux, Unix, and Mac systems.
