The auditing and reporting features of Likewise Enterprise put the data that you need to manage the demands of network security and compliance at your fingertips. Customizable reports show access by user, group, computer, forest, and domain. Compliance reports present information tailored to help you fulfill the requirements of security regulations.
Likewise Enterprise includes the following reporting features:
- A variety of reports, including reports to help comply with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) and Sarbanes-Oxley).
- Categories of reports, including both access reports and compliance reports.
- Options for customers who own a SQL Server and options for those who don't.
- A simple user interface.
Advanced Reporting Features
Likewise Enterprise has many advanced features, including:
- The ability to generate more than 20 different types of reports.
- Categories of reports, such as compliance reports that contain several reports related to PCI and other security regulations.
- Reports that are based on both information from Active Directory and information collected from the event logs of client computers.
- Reporting data is stored in an SQL Server database and can be accessed either on demand or periodically by a set schedule.
- Reports are exportable in Excel or PDF format.

SQL Options
The SQL options available with Likewise Enterprise are easy to use and adaptable to your needs. If you already own an SQL Server enterprise license, you can easily create a Likewise database because Likewise Enterprise offers an SQL script that facilitates the creation of the Likewise database on your SQL server. If you do not have an SQL server or do not wish to use the Likewise database, you may decide to install SQL Server Express, a free version of SQL Server that enables a subset of the Likewise Enterprise product and tools.
